(1/3) “My experiences with breastfeeding after births happened at two different hospitals and they were completely different. With my first child, it wasn’t a baby- friendly hospital, which I think made a huge difference. I feel like there wasn’t enough education on the hospital’s part on teaching proper latching techniques or even looking for tongue-ties. They were not promoting breastfeeding, and had us supplementing with formula by day two. So, they didn’t really give me much of a chance. We didn’t even find out my oldest daughter had a tongue tie until she was 5 years old, when my youngest was diagnosed, and the doctor happened to check and confirmed both girls were tongue-tied.”
